Secure Systems Demo Day is organized by the Secure Systems research groups at Aalto University and the University of Helsinki in collaboration with the Helsinki-Aalto Institute for Cybersecurity (HAIC) to showcase our current research in information security and to seek valuable inputs from external visitors. The event brings together local academia, students, and industry and gives an overview of on-going information security research in Finland’s capital area.
Over the past decade, Secure Systems Demo Days have become an essential gathering for security experts who return annually to reconnect with peers and meet new graduates entering the cybersecurity field. 2026 event will be organized in conjunction with NordSecMob & SECCLO Alumni event and we look forward to seeing many of our previous students and wonderful reunions.
Additionally, the Demo Day offers an excellent platform for students and researchers to explore job opportunities within the local information security industry and academia. Typically 8-10 companies participate our event, each hosting a company desk to promote internships and thesis positions. As of now, Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia Bell Labs, Nordea, Nvidia, SSH, Traficom (NCC-FI), VTT, WithSecure and Women4Cyber Finland have confirmed their attendance. Secure Systems Demo Day is a public event and free of charge. However, we kindly ask to you register to receive a calendar invitation and the event updates.
