Secure Systems Demo Day 2024 was organized on Monday, 17th of June. With two highlight talks, 29 research posters, three demos, 11 company desks and 120+ participants, the event was successful in many ways. Since the first Demo Day a decade ago, the event has annually brought together cybersecurity researchers, industry experts and students to catch up and share the latest research news.
This year the participants had an opportunity to vote for the best poster award winner. The competition was tight and the best poster award was awarded to two winners:
Mariam Moustafa: Formal models of key exchange with raw public keys
Shahd Omer: Implementation of GlobalPlatform TPS keystore using OPTEE
The runner-up for the best poster award was:
Salem Wollel: Authenticating and Authorizing the Caller: A Defense Mechanism Against Caller ID spoofing
Congratulations to all winners and their advisors & supervisors!
